I sat on my favorite pair of computer/reading glasses, and they broke. I thought for sure I was going to be stuck buying a new pair, which also meant waiting days to get them. NOT TODAY! “I saved $$$ at the Walmart Vision Center on Roberts Street East Saint Paul, MN. They accepted Part B Medicare Insurance for glasses for "Medically Necessary" cataract surgery on one eye. Bring all your paperwork. Coverage is for a basic pair of glasses and there are restrictions on this insurance coverage so read it carefully. Medicare part B has a $233 annual deductable. Shirley processed my claim within 7 days. There is a Dr of Optometry available at this site but call first if you need a new prescription (A big plus). Medicare Part B does not cover refraction tests in most cases. Not many providers will accept Medicare Part B for glasses due to cataract surgery. I have 20/20 vision in both eyes. Wow!“
