She is super gentle and cares about what she is doing. She has me check her work after she’s finished to make sure I am satisfied! No other esthetician has ever asked me to check their work! Ever since I have embarked on the curly hair journey, I have found that there are so few curly hair stylists in and around Boston who can truly work wonders with curly hair. I finally went for a haircut after 2 year break, and was really nervous. But Helaine assured me she knew what she was doing made me feel very comfortable. So much so that I actually went ahead and got highlights on my virgin hair. She was careful not to overwhelm me.
