The staff at the Des Plaines Athletico are kind, patient, knowledgeable, empathetic, and hard working. What else could you ask for? Also, the facility will do consultations so I didn't need a doctor to address my secondary issue that came up. It's a smaller staff so they do juggle patients a bit but they spend an appropriate amount of time with you. They are also teaching future PT's as well so they are also giving back a little. Sometimes that can be awkward but the PT will help if you need extra attention while practicing the exercises so it's fine. Equipment is good. Thier techniques to free muscles to encourage movement seem very scientific while also not being uncomfortable, it usually helped quite a bit with my neck problem. So they always found different ways and adjusted to address my physical therapy needs and provided me with printed at-home instruction which I collected and provided me with some bands to get started with. I was very pleased with this Athletico. I moved 45-60 minutes away during my PT time and still traveled to finish out my PT plan because I was more than satisfied with Melissa's diagnosis, observation and instruction, Lauren's innovative and motivational methods, Mariola's empathetic, caretaking and observant spirit and Mariola experienced in sports, and inspires with confidence. I was thorough in this review because all these PTs really care about thier job and patients, which is rare these days. Thank you

this clinic is the best.... i, unfortunately, have had the need for physical therapy several times due to many surgeries. i have experienced a couple small clinics (with1- 2 physical therapists ) and several larger facilities each had several therapists - (5-8 therapists)... i found athletico in des plaines several years ago, and have used them several times now, and will not go anywhere else. melissa and each of her staff are wonderful. they combine genuine friendliness with professionalism. they customize their approach to each individual patient and what their needs may be. - and they make each patient feel like they are the ONLY patient that they are working with. their physical therapy along with their positive personalities make this the only place to go to if you are in need of any kind of physical therapy.

I have had a fantastic experience with my Therapist and all of the assistants here! Finally feeling better and starting to walk better. Everything is personalized for the individual and the results are excellent. My therapist, Allison really knows how to make the most out of the therapy sessions! Great staff, very clean too!
