I absolutely love Dr Amie and this practice. I was a little afraid and apprehensive when we first discussed acupuncture. Most people don't like needles, and I couldn't imagine having more than one at a time. Let me say, Dr Amie is knowledgeable, gentle and kind. She explained the purpose and the reason for placement. I was so relaxed that I forgot needles were involved. Her space is so peaceful that it resembled being in a quiet spa. I also combined Chiropractic adjustments to my sessions. AMAZING! Dr Amie is a Healer in Every Sense of the Word!I have been her patient for almost 10 years. Why do I go see her? What does she do for me?I primarily go to her for health maintenance and if anything crops up like a pinched nerve in my neck or low energy etc she tunes me up.I always feel better and her treatments are super unique.I consider a friend and I know that you will also.
I have visited Dr. Shimmel regarding an issue that affected my ability to walk. She has significantly contributed to my overall well-being assisting my body's ability to heal naturally. I believe the body can heal itself with the assistance of alternative medicine and acupuncture has been immensely effective in balancing my vital energy to promote my healing process. Currently, I am walking without the use of a wheelchair and am currently using a cane for stability purposes. I contribute part of my recovery to the acupuncture sessions I have had with Dr. Shimmel, where she has restored my Qi flow through the meridians and or pathways necessary to aid my body to heal and regenerate connections.I am immensely thankful to Dr. Shimmel for her vast knowledge of Acupuncture therapy, her professionalism, and her beautiful spirit's desire to heal and look forward to my continued visits.
