If you are looking for a makeover, absolutely get your hair done at Sabre Salon! Today I watched their AMAZING team do the hair of four of our girls from the Bobby Benson Center (non-profit facility for teens with history of trauma). Each girl wanted something different (ombré, ash balayage, burgundy hair, and natural balayage). They all had long, thick black virgin hair to begin with, and their end colors turned out so gorgeous! This team knows exactly what they are doing and gave each girl the exact results they wanted. The girls were absolutely beaming and can't get over how beautiful they feel! The team at Sabre Salon spent over five hours today and they didn't take a single penny as payment. They donated their services and products 100%. The girls otherwise could not have afforded this opportunity, and the center could not have afforded it either. Even after a difficult year like 2020 the stylists at Sabre Salon still gave back. Highly recommend this salon to all. Today I also watched other clients get their done and they all looked SO good. This team is amazing! Photos are of other clients, not the Bobby Benson Clients. Unfortunately I can't share their amazing transformations, but they are gorgeous!!!

One of my clients at work made this super good recommendation and I couldn't be happier! I have never been this happy with my haircut in a long time. The air conditioning broke at my work and I was miserable. It took 2 years to grow out my hair and I finally had it past my shoulders. I called and I was able to schedule my appointment with Slayaka. They had super flexible scheduling and conveniently fit me in after work. They are located on the corner of Kaheka and S. King St above the Longs Drugs pharmacy on the 4th floor. I had no idea what I wanted but he made some really good recommendations during and after my haircut. The shampoo was much needed after work and felt wonderful. He cleaned as he went along, wore his mask but was still talkative and helped me pass the time and was able to decipher what I needed for my haircut. He curled it to make it super fun. He cut it above my neck and still keep my length and thinned out my the thicker parts of my hair. He told me about a styling gel to blend in my baby hairs. I feel so much better and I feel confident about my haircut. 5 stars, 10 if I could. Definitely would recommend.

Thank you Slayaka for my cute haircut! I really appreciate your attention to detail and bringing my vision I wanted my hair to life. I like that you ask me questions on what I like/dont like and it was easy to communicate with you. You made me feel at ease from the beginning, I knew I could trust you with my hair. I will definitely come back again to get a trim because you really know how to work with my thick Asian hair lol. Also if anyone has a dog, this place is dog friendly! They had a super cute Collie named Mickey there just chillin'. Thank you again Slay!
