I get a haircut, style, and foils here. Service is good. Stylists work with you. Products are high quality. Prices are fair. Music is usually a nice variety of mellow and energetic, oldies and indie artists -makes it even more enjoyable. Parking has gotten harder but it’s still definitely worth going.

Best style salon in Connecticut. I kid you not. I've tried the best of names I will not post. They pale to Chris and his artistic perfection. If you are looking for for the extrordinary haircut, one that will let you stand out, run to Zinc. The total environment, artistic genre, patio on the river to sit while your head cooks, you've found it. My complements to Chris and his team. Definitely outshines the others that claim to be rockstars!! Best, Carol

My daughter is growing out her hair from a very short style. She really needed a trim and a re-shape. I called Zinc in the morning and was able to get a same day appointment. The salon was fun and relaxing. Our stylist, Dawn, was super sweet with my daughter, talking about what her hair goals were. All in all, a great cut, a great price, a great experience.
