I got a curly cut by Khal. They were friendly and took the time to create the look I was going for. I'm really pleased with the new do. Can't wait for my next haircut with them!

I went in to look for a new perfume, because the one I love is made overseas and almost $200. On this fact finding mission, I learned much about Ulta, and also that it seems it's not too far above the going rate for perfume. They do offer a display section for perfume, as they do for every beauty product you can think of. Give them a product type, or give them a brand, and Ulta probably has it on their shelves. I did notice the lighting was kind of dark, no oppressive bright fluorescents bearing down on your skin. It was also kind of warm, and they really need to turn their AC on sooner (which I assume they do later in the summer. I hope they do!). The employees also seemed to respond to customers by type. I, a general shopper, was not of interest to the hair stylists in the back. I'd like to think they would have helped me if I had a question in their wheelhouse. The regular floor employees, however, did hunt me down again to see how I was doing. I finally decided browsing was more my speed, and found some fun face masks. Would definitely come again if there's a day I need to spoil myself with something fun!
