“I can’t say enough about this place. Worth every penny. My dog was really hard to deal with as far as his reactivity. They do everything they can till the issues are resolved. The continued support is awesome and they never make you feel like you’re doing a bad job with your dog. Very good with instruction and follow up with everything you and the trainers are working with.Art of the dog too really good care of my boy while he stayed there. Great reports on how the training is going as well as health and well being. They send photos and videos of progress and just some of dogs being happy. This place knows what they are doing and I can definitely tell they are there because they love what they do. So. Huge thanks to the owners and staff of ARt Of The Dog.“
“Zac recently helped us with our new puppy.Zac came in and immediately provided guidance! The session was an absolute pleasure and we learned so much. Our new addition is rapidly learning and improving every day! We are so grateful for Zac and recommend him to everyone.“
“No 2 Alike Dog Training is the best dog training in Denver! They were able to train my puppy to be a very well behaved dog. They have been very accommodating of my busy work schedule and been able to make modifications to his training schedule on very short notice! I truly cannot imagine utilizing any other training service!“
“Tanya was so good with my 1-year-old pup. She took time to gauge our needs and opportunities for improvement and tailored the training accordingly. She was very flexible about timing and training location also. Would highly recommend!“
“We're really happy we went with Dion at Ancillary K9! We loved our adopted really reactive 90lb German Shepherd, but life was getting very difficult because of his behavioral issues. We stopped being able to take him places with us and it was really limiting his (and our) quality of life, and we were always worried about something awful happening. After completing the training with Dion, our dog handles any situation much better, and we're much better equipped to understand his behavior and know what we have to do to help him. Our dog is so much happier as a result, and we're able to take him on adventures that he loves.Dion really cares about you and your dog's success. He had no problem when we needed a few extra classes to complete the training, and encouraged us to reach out even after the course was completed if we had any questions or wanted to attend a refresher course.Parts of the course may be emotionally difficult if you're new to dog training because some aversive methods are part of the course. I used to be opposed to aversive methods too, so if you're on the fence I understand where you're coming from. But ultimately the discomfort from those methods last a brief second in your dog's overall life, and in exchange the boundaries and expectations that were set help him move through life with greater confidence and understanding. He still has all of his adventurous and loving energy, and seems way more relaxed when he's out and about. He probably actually has way more adventurous energy now that he's not tensing up and preparing to lunge whenever he sees a dog, and can focus on enjoying his time with us and new smells and sticks.Dion understood dog behavior and body language better than any trainer we'd ever worked with before, and our relationship with our dog is much deeper than it was before this course.A big thank you to Dion, and if we ever have a friend who is really struggling with a reactive dog, we would definitely recommend Ancillary K9 to them!“
“Had the pleasure of having Pat and his wife do a 2 week board and train with my GSD Echo. They did such a wonderful job and would recommend them to anyone within the Denver area to help train their dog. Echo doesn't pull on her leash anymore and comes when given the command. She also sits stays and heels perfectly. Thank you k9Denver!!“
“Woofhaus provides an awesome experience, for both pups and owners. Super sweet staff in the front (Erin) and great grooming from Kelsey (apologies if I misspelled your name ). They care about the little details, and that goes a long way. When Woofhaus hired a new groomer they asked my wife and I first before scheduling our dog Chuck. Love these folks, can’t say enough great things about them!“
“Such caring and kind staff! I always trust Archie is taken care of and having a blast when he is there!“
“Our dog had a great time and came home nice and sleepy from playing with her new friends!“
“Juliet is a miracle worker. Our Hannibal (yes, Hannibal Lecter) was extremely dog reactive. When he was young he had a couple of bad experiences at dog parks and with other dogs that caused him to be one of the worst reactivity cases she had seen. When I moved to Colorado and was in an apartment... every single day was a struggle for Hannibal and I. He would lunge, bark, and actually pull me to the point of falling on-leash while trying to get to other dogs. At one point, when he had to go to the vet, the vet even mentioned \\\"you better not get another dog, because he'll kill it\\\" due to how he reacted towards other dogs. One week with Juliet was completely transformative for him. She gave us the tools, the techniques, and the confidence to handle Hannibal. When I moved Hannibal and I back to Texas and moved him in with an intact male that he had never met before, I was so scared with how he would react. But with slow introductions, leashed walks, and patience, the boys love each other tremendously. Hannibal is much more stable, confident dog and he doesn't pull me down the street and lunge at other dogs anymore. Juliet has a great understanding of animals and working through different issues. The only regret I have is that I didn't find her sooner!“
“Overland is a wonderful place. For all my normal checkups this is where I usually go. Yesterday my dog had an emergency and Dr. P and all the staff went above and beyond to help save my dog’s life. It was the worst day as you can imagine but they were so kind and considerate and made sure that we were well taken care of. I am so grateful for them. My dog is my everything and they made us a priority despite it being very busy and Dr. P being the only veterinarian on duty. They are amazing, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I absolutely recommend them for all your veterinarian needs.“
“My Dottie loves coming to daycare! She never ever wants to leave when I come to pick her up. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about your pet. The facility is clean, well managed. Highly recommend.“
“We just moved to Denver and our furry friend needed his yearly shots. Dr. Wahl was friendly and gave me advice on what vaccinations my old guy needed or not. It was a great experience! Thanks“
“I've been taking my 14 yr old cat, Celeste there for a year since moving from Greeley. They are very professional and super kind. This place cares about your pet.“
“Pavlov is amazing! Our dog Allie attended their puppy preschool, then completed the 2 week board and train.Puppy preschool was awesome. It taught Allie how to respectfully interact with other puppies. We do wish it had been more than 4 weeks long.As for the board and train, we’ve used multiple board and trains for previous dogs but Pavlov is by far the best one! Their team created a great training method. Chelsea was amazing! She did an awesome job training our girl. The most important part of dog training is training the humans on how to keep up with the training. Chelsea was great at teaching us the commands. When we needed correction she gave full explanations of what we did wrong, why it needed correcting, and how to perform the command correctly. Over the weeks after board and train she promptly responded to our questions, even taking the time to video record a demonstration to include with her response. We can tell our dog enjoyed her time at training because she was so excited to see Chelsea when we went back for the required post-boarding training. When our dog finished training, all our family and friends commented on the incredible change that happened in just two short weeks. The program is pricey, but 100% worth it! We’re excited to attend the long term classes to keep up Allie’s skills, as well as use them for boarding while on vacations.“
