“Had such a fantastic experience with Amanda and Kat at Mauve. I didn't schedule a color consultation (oops) and just showed up for a warmer color for Fall. I showed her a photo or two, but my words didn't necessarily jive with the photos. She was so unbelievably thorough, asking more questions and searching for photos to ensure she understood what I wanted. Let's face it, I didn't even know exactly what I wanted. So it was no easy task, but she was so kind and inquisitive. I was so impressed!And to top it off, my hair came out exactly as I envisioned in my mind. So natural, so warm, so rich. “Jade and Devon were a fantastic hair and make-up team for my wedding! Jade was professional and organized to get the hair and makeup done for the ladies in the wedding party. I really appreciated the trial we did because I have longer and thicker hair. It was helpful to get an idea of what my hair would look like and how we could get it to stay up! She also gave the tip to schedule a dress fitting after the trial to see it all together which was a great idea. The airbrush makeup Jade used felt light and airy, and although I don’t wear a lot of makeup day to day, I still felt like myself with the look she gave me. My bridal party all liked their hair & makeup even my mom who has a very specific style. Jade was great working with my mom to make sure she felt like herself with her updo. At the end of the night, my hair still looked great in my chignon-esque bun! Definitely recommend them for wedding hair and make-up!“

“Over all I would recommend coming here. I was happy because I got a last minute appointment (less than 24 hours before!) Compared to other salons in Denver- the prices are average. Make sure to be very specific about what you want. Otherwise you will end up paying more! I went in and asked for a balayage and ended up paying for full highlights which was significantly more. The quality of the hair products used seemed good- they smelled good at least. The hair wash was interesting, I had one of the assistants wash my hair which was odd and I wasn't sure if I should tip her and my stylists or what to do... also I was the only one with an assistant washing my hair! They give you a choice of drinks when you come in from water to wine which is fun. Tips expectation is 20% from what the front staff told me- again I don't go to salons often so I asked what the usual tip was. With a cut. Full highlight, shampoo, and a little styling at the end + tip I walked out the door for $367. The most expensive hair cut I have ever gotten. I hope that the color settles in and it grows out ok! 4 stars because if i am going to pay more than what was quoted to me originally, you should be upfront about that when you are suggesting/making changes. Defiantly feeling like I was "up-selled" and hoping I don't regret it.“
