“I've worked with many contractors before, but Lior is hands down one of the best. I'm extremely detail-oriented and have minor OCD to the point where I am usually the one that is telling contractors how I want things done, but I quickly realized that Lior is the same way- in the best way possible. He is the type of person that remembers every single thing that has been discussed with him down to the smallest detail, and that is very rare for contractors. He has an incredible eye for design and gave me great suggestions on different options we could move forward with for our project. He demolished our backyard and completely transformed our backyard with new concrete, turf, lights, etc. and the entire project was finished in record time in about 3 weeks. I gave him an unrealistic finish date and he finished our backyard in time. His crew was always early or on time, cleaned up every day, and were so respectful and kind. “If I could leave 6 stars instead of 5, I would. In the scorching LA sun, Armando and his team finished our backyard in 2 days. It was better than I could have imagined. They were prompt, communicative, and did an excellent job on what was a terrible looking backyard of just weeds. We just recently purchased a house in the West Adams area and needed some help to create a backyard for not only us but our two dogs. Armando came to give us an estimate and was able to start within days of the estimate but finished the yard in two days! Myself and my husband could not have been happier. They also hauled away some extra shrubs and mulch that we had accumulated without any fuss or extra charges. I can't recommend him and his team more. I promise you, you won't regret it.“

“We were doing a partial bathroom renovation, replacing tile, painting, replacing the vanity, pretty straightforward. I had met with four other contractors at this point, and the estimates were VASTLY spread out, and many were vague or just a lump sum estimate without scope of work details. Then came Daniel and SafeSide. He listened to what we wanted, and even made suggestions that saved us money. His estimate was very well priced, and listed each element we spoke about in detail. We immediately felt comfortable with him and his crew. They worked very clean, protecting surfaces and keeping supplies organized by the end of each day. Daniel's guys showed up right when they promised, and he stayed on budget. He worked with us to complete the project within our timeline, too. He communicates very clearly and is very responsive to both text messages and calls. Daniel even personally showed up to check in every day, sometimes multiple times throughout! “We first hired Steve and crew to replace a fence on the side of our house, and get rid of a planter and pour concrete to increase the size of the driveway. One of Steve's employees/subcontractors named Dean did the work. He did an amazing job. Super detail oriented, and organized throughout the job. It pretty much came out perfect.Since we were so impressed with this job, we hired Steve again to do some concrete and stucco repair work on the house then paint the exterior. Our house had many cracks, so it was a decent sized job. There were some issues with the visibility of the crack repairs, so Steve came in and redid the stucco on large portions of the house at no cost to us. We were very impressed by this responsiveness. The house looks great now, and the price was also really good.We plan to hire Steve and co again for future projects.Services: General construction“

“We enjoyed working with Pacific Outdoor Living and love our backyard remodel! We installed new pavers, artificial turf, a curb wall for fence installation, resurfaced our pool with mini pebble, retiled our pool, installed new automated pool equipment and added a waterfall feature. They were patient with us during the design process as we asked for estimates for things that we didn't end up doing because they were out of budget. They may be more expensive than hiring different subcontractors yourself to do each separate area but it was worth it to just deal with one person managing the job, the permits and use qualified subcontractors that they know do good work. We used a separate contractor for a new louvered pergola because we wanted a particular brand with screens but pacific outdoor worked with them to get the permit inspection and pavers done around it. We are very happy with how the backyard turned out.“

“I had been wanting to "remodel" the front garden of my house for a long time, but somehow never got around to it. This summer, I decided to go for it, and used Yelp to sift through landscaping companies. I needed some hardscape work done as well, in addition to lawn and planter full changeover. Tom was very responsive, and after a quick first meeting, I felt very comfortable going with him. He came across as someone who knows what he is doing and diligent about his work. That gut feel turned out to be 100% accurate. Tom personally gets his hands dirty, with his crew. Throughout the 7 days project, his crew arrived on time, did a great job, and left the area clean and neat at the end of each work day. The final result of their 7 days work was very satisfying for me to see. Great job, Tom and team. Five stars and a big thumbs up from me! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to redo their front yard.“

“These guys are great! Finding reliable, competent contractors with fair pricing in the Valley is virtually impossible. Oscar and his team offer all of the above. They did an amazing job laying a concrete foundation for my BBQ area. I also had them do all the electrical for my backyard renovation. They installed all the outlets and lighting fixtures and did a fantastic job. Their whole crew was super friendly and easy to work with. Lastly, after the job was completed, I realized that we had miscommunicated on one of the electrical outlets and it needed to be swapped out for a different box. Oscar graciously offered to come back and change it for me. The thoughtful customer service was so refreshing. I'm a customer for life!“
