I relocated to Southern California and needed to find a Stylist Stat. Sarah was there to save me. she gave me more than what I could've expected for a first time Client and was pleasant and professional the entire appointment. Sarah was very knowledgeable with color and cuts. I definitely recommend her. And the Salon was spotless. and everyone else seemed very friendly. Surely stop in to see Sarah if your looking for a great hairdresser/stylist! Ive had nothing but compliments since I got my hair done. I cannot wait to go back again. Did I mention what an adorable town it is in and the best location? I myself know finding a new stylist is very intimidating and nerve-wracking. Nope! Not with Sara shes a keeper and very personable. Makes you feel like you have known her for a long time! I loved my appointment! Can you tell? Oh and the salon uses amazing Kevin Murphy products. love

Update: I have been here about 4 times getting cut and color from Brittany. Today is updated cut and color balayage August 9, 2019. I found this place through Goldwell's (quality German product for hair color, I am forever loyal) website. Goldwell does not have harmful products that make my scalp shed into chunky flakes like all other inferior dyes. Goldwell due has a vibrant color. It is upstairs and a little hard to find, but it is the first circulation opening into the plaza, 15 feet west of Baldwin. It is closer to Baldwin than google map shows. Not 2 openings away, as google map shows. Brittany did an amazing job blending my old 1.5 year grown out highlights with new highlights. It looked very natural and the color came out, as it is a month later a beautiful honey. It took approximately 3.5 hours cuz I have dark hair. Not only is she an experienced hair stylist, but she is so fun to talk to and be around. She is on the cautious side and will never damage your hair. Price: $50 cut, $150 balayage color, whole head. Really reasonable compared to west LA and Beverly Hills. Cut is on higher end. You may say there are many dye jobs for $60-$80...they are not the same skill level as Brittany, and do they use goldwell dye (a product where it never smells, never feel chemical burn, hair doesn't turn orange, scalp will never flake). Worth it!

I have been to this hair salon a handful of times as my boyfriend's mom highly recommended it. First, I want to start off by saying I am extremely picky about my hair as I have had a few horrible experiences in the past. To be more specific, every single hair salon I have tried in America (I'm originally from Europe) has done a poor job on my color. My hair is naturally dark blonde with a grey tone to it and for some reason most colorists manage to ruin that and make my hair yellow. But not this place! I have had both Brittany and Sara and was happy with the result from both of them. Brittany is really good at doing ombre, so whenever I wanted ombre hair I would go to her. The most recent time I wanted to slightly change it up and get a natural balayage instead. Color turned out GREAT! It looks very natural, not yellow AT ALL and it's been 2 months since and my hair still looks amazing. I must admit I was hoping for the balayage to be lighter than what it turned out, but that's probably a good thing because it looks more natural this way. She basically knew what I wanted better than me :). Getting there is a bit tricky as it's situated in the back and up some stairs, but once you've figured it out it's really easy. There is street parking right in the front. I never had an issue finding parking. Tip for guys: There's a third stylist, Hilda, that my boyfriend goes to who does a great undercut paired with a pompadour on top!
