“Last week, I went to my first facial with Thy (like “tea”) and WOW! I am so impressed! Five days later, and I still find myself touching my face and being shocked by how smooth and healthy my skin feels.I discovered Unfiltered Beauty while chatting with friends; one of them used to own a spa and the other is very particular about his skin - so they have high standards for estheticians.I was nervous about trying a new spot, but Thy put me at ease as soon as I walked in. She is friendly and approachable and kind—but also incredibly professional. As soon as she starts talking about skincare, you know she is a master at what she does.Thy gave me a custom facial, and explained why she chose each component that she did throughout the process. She has a variety of cool, high-tech tools, but the essence of the facial was in her deep knowledge and soothing, nurturing craft. I was (pleasantly!) surprised that the soothing 75 minutes included so many pieces; Thy maintains a smooth, consistent rhythm that ties it all together and allows you to truly relax. I am a convert, and I’ll be going back as soon as my skin starts to get dry and dull again!“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! Maiko was wonderful, so sweet and easy to talk to. I got my eyebrows, underarms, and legs waxed, as well as a Brazilian. She did a fantastic job and I swear the wax did not hurt as much as other places I’ve been to. I also had my eye lashes tinted. Maiko allowed me to come in a few days before to try the dye out as I was worried about my sensitive skin. I met Claire at that time and she was just as sweet. Maiko was super communicative during the tinting process which helped me as I was new to the whole thing. Will be back!“

“"update! Came in for a 12 months touch up as my previous cover up started showing a bit. As usual,Stella worked her magic! She took her time to draw and align my brows and even stretched the ends a bit. I love visiting her not only because she's the only person I trust, but because of her bubbly, friendly and honest personality!The session took about 1.5 hours, which is normal from start to finish. We stuck with the combo ombré for that soft natural touch. Absolutely in love! The after-care is important and Stella does an amazing job at reminding me of that. As you can see in my updated photo, absolutely flawless- thanks to her! I will never trust anyone else, wherever she goes; best believe I most likely will follow her haha. “After receiving so many compliments for my skin revolution, I decided it was time for a review! I have been here twice... TWICE!! Similar to whoever is reading this, I did lots of research before deciding to check out Dermaplus. They almost always had a waitlist but once they were taking clients, I jumped on the opportunity and I haven't looked back.I've had chronically problematic acne-prone skin (we had to extract infected acne, ouch) and I've tried prescribed topicals/medications-- nothing helped. From my two classic custom facials, I couldn't be happier with the results. The transformation after the first facial was incredible (after the initial skin purge of course) but now that I've had my second facial, my skin is nearly ACNE FREE. As for my scars, I'm considering getting microneedling done here in the future.I appreciate that there is no product pushing but after I read the reviews of other clients raving about their skincare line, I picked up a few things myself and I must say-- I get the hype.I want to give a shoutout to my girl, Erika, she is a miracle worker and the sweetest human. I will be sticking with her for the rest of my skin journey and it still blows my mind to see where we've gotten my skin in two facials. She saved my skin! Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough.**They just hired a new esthetician, Mallory, and are taking new clients! I also recommend following their Instagram, @dermaplus, they post stories when they have last-minute facial openings.**“
