We love Dr. Keiss and Sergio. She really knows her stuff. She's kind, understanding, patient and a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. Sergio is caring and a very competent tech. We won't take our pets anywhere else.

I’ve been taking my now 9year old yorkie here since I moved about a year ago. She had a UTI after a long drive across the country and the team was so helpful. They provided me with a lot of information about treatment options, were very upfront with the cost, didn’t feel like they pressured me to do the most expensive one or give her any unnecessary treatments. Since then they have been very good with follow ups, I get regular text reminders about requirements like vaccines etc, they are super accommodating to schedule changes ( my work schedule has been hectic) but they work with me to make sure my dog gets the best treatment. I initially chose Pacific Beach Veterinary Clinic due to the proximity to my apartment. However, I have been happy overall with my experience at this clinic. While it can get pricey, I don't mind as much if it is in the best interest of my pet. I have had positive interactions with the doctors here and appreciate them following up and providing feedback on how to best maintain my cat's health! During my most recent visit, the veterinary technician, Sergio, went above and beyond. He did an amazing job comforting my cat, which made the whole ordeal a lot better (for both the cat and I)! He was very attentive, and I felt he truly cared about my animal's overall wellbeing.
