The Nutcracker Ballet produced by the Pasadena Dance Theater is SPECTACULAR !!!!!The choreography is superb!!!!!The performance of the lead dancersand the Russian dancersare breathe taking !!!!! The sound and visual effects is a delight to the ears and eyes!!!!! The gold frame around the front of the stage is the introduction of the caliber of the artistry of the stage settings.Love the Chinese dancers especiallyhow they entered the stage !!!!!Cynthia Young , thank you so very much for your Artistic direction!!!!You even made me laugh and include me in one of the dances, probablythe RussianMerry, Merry, Merry Christmas !!!!!Marlene Voskian

The professional ballet instruction at Pasadena Dance Theatre is unmatched for miles around. Many of their students have gone on to professional dance careers. (It is NOT a competition-style dance school with competitive parents and extra fees) It is a caring school for serious ballet students - and is quite simply the BEST!

This review is waaay overdue. I love coming here for the Adult Ballet Classes during Saturday. Our instructor is pretty fast paced but you still learn quite a bit. It's the perfect class for former dancers and for any of those who just want to learn. The environment is fun and encouraging not competitive at all. I usually pay per class since my schedule is unpredictable. Parking is easy since they have ample space and the class is early enough. Support local that's why I frequent this place. Ballet will always have any heart. I just wish that they do sell items that is essential and basics to dancing but I can live without and go to the stores around the area. Jeff is friendly too and always welcoming.
