Stopped by last weekend and the place is now closed. Not sure what happened, so I ended up going elsewhere. Nail Couture was located next to Wells Fargo by Vons off Figueroa. Making appointment is best. We've been coming here every so often last 3 years for pedicure. The wait is expected but that's just how it is. Convenient as it's in a shopping lot area where eateries are and Vons, Starbucks, etc. I usually bring my own nail polish but there's other options. Check prices inside or online before getting anything done.

I would've of rated it a 1star but I left with a 5 star! I was asked to pay before getting my nails done. When I asked for French tip, the guy said he would do the outline first before the base polish (which seemed backwards but he did a good job) after voicing my opinion about wanting the base polish in pink first, the woman who was doing my hands mocked how I was being demanding about the polish. Then the woman who did my nails did a poorly done French tip. I was so embarrassed to say so but l wasn't leaving the shop like that. Especially before valentines. So I asked the guy that did my pedicure if he could redo my manicure. He was much more considerate and detailed when he did my pedicure (I should've asked to just have him do both services) and he did an amazing job on both hands and feet. I've had that female manicurist before and my mom has had her complaints about her too. I just don't think she should attempt designs in the future. When I first told her that the white polish during the French tip was bumpy, she went and grabbed a different polish, then proceeded to overly coat the French tip. She kept trying to reassure me that they were "pretty". The lady who was supervising even gave the side eye about the original "French tip" manicure. So I didn't feel too bad about asking for a redo. Over all I was in the shop for an hour or so. Was super quiet on a Monday which I didn't mind either. I left happily with the redone French manicure. I never got a chance to get their names today but THANK YOU

I've been here a few times and I like how big the space is and their selection of nail polishes. I get the regular mani-pedi for $38 and I'm very satisfied with the service and results. Tip: if you use a credit card they charge you $1 extra. You also must tip in cash or Venmo. They're relocating in 2024, but the current location has ample free parking.
