Jeff is one of the most compelling violin makers I’ve come across in over 25 years of performing. Jeff Muller is simply one of the top luthiers in the world. He knows how to make a violin sound with his expert adjustments and set ups. His own instruments are extraordinary as well.Glenn DicterowFormer Concertmaster New York Philharmonic (1980-2014)Professor of Violin at USC Thornton School of Music (Heifetz Chair)
I am surprised that I never wrote a review of his shop. I live in OC and I have been going to him for over at least 15 years. It's pretty crazy to drive all the way to Santa Monica, but its really worth it in my opinion. I go to other shops when I absolutely can't avoid it but honestly it's not the same.. i don't think anyone can beat his bow rehair.
