This review was a long time coming but this speaks to the impact that Scott had on my mindset about fitness. My husband and I hired Scott back in May of 2023 for a 12 week personalized, virtual plan. In a perfect world, we could have worked with a trainer in person with access to all sorts of expensive equipment but we're both busy and neither of us really like being in a crowded gym. Scott's online training program seemed like it was the ticket. My goal was to build muscle and core strength. I've always been fit but could never get over the finish line of having a muscular physique. Scott helped prepare a program that used what we had in our home gym and that was personalized to our likes and hobbies. I'm a runner and a cyclist. I didn't want to give those up and I didn't have to. He was thoughtful to craft a plan that fit each of us. The dietary plan coordinated by Lexy was a big part of the puzzle, as well. The plan was challenging but not overwhelming and it was nice to have weekly check ins with Scott for the confidence boost and feedback. By about week 8, I really started to see the difference. I don't think I'm a vain person but it really feels nice when friends and family greet you at events and say "wow". Especially being just shy of 40. Since finishing the 12 weeks, I got married ( planned and hosted the wedding), bought a house, renovated said house, watched said house get flooded in a storm, re-renovated it, had emergency surgery, and changed careers. You would think all of this would knock one off the wagon but the knowledge, technique, and confidence I took away from working with Scott really stuck and helped me develop healthy habits and to maintain a focus on the "vision".
I am grateful for Lexy's guidance as my fitness trainer while recovering from a shoulder injury. She demonstrated a deep understanding of my injury, providing tailored exercises that promoted healing and prevented further damage. Lexy's positive attitude and encouragement kept me motivated, and her professionalism and follow up were exceptional. I highly recommend Lexy to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and caring fitness trainer.
What an experience. Scott and the KoolBody staff not only personalize training but I was amazed at the knowledge of the science behind it. I came with a sore shoulder and Scott was able to ascertain the situation, and with the proper pre workout stretching, was able to have a solid shoulder day workout. I highly recommend KoolBody!
