So I've gotten two tattoos here, one from Will and Jojo. Both my experiences were really positive. My favorite thing about the shop is that it doesn't feel pretentious or intimidating. One of the best things though is that you can bring someone with you to keep you company and they can sit by your side while you get inked! Just mentioning this sine a lot of other shops I've been to don't allow this. They also have free snacks and water easily available for you to grab yourself (love the convenience since I'm a bit people shy sometimes) in addition to strong wifi (very necessary if you're going in for a long session by yourself haha). Artists: Wil: This man is known for his tigers and you should definitely check them out. I had been hunting for someone who does tiger designs I like for a while since I'm a bit picky with the style. I thought the price was very reasonable considering his expertise and the custom design. He has such a light hand which made the pain so much better, but I'm not sure if that also has to do with the fact that he does single needle tats. Jojo: He's a newer member of the shop and his flashes are all so cute! I had designed something for my friend and I and he refined the design. You can definitely see his art background through his work. He was really easy to talk to and checked in multiple times to make sure everything was ok. He also didn't have a heavy hand, which I think made a painful placement more tolerable. Process: You can book directly with the artists or with the shop manager. They also accommodate walk ins. Payment: They take zelle! Which is great if you don't feel comfortable carrying around hundreds of dollars like me.

Amazing artists here!! Everyone was super kind and the shop is very professional. So glad I decided on this place. In particular, Y is a new artist who is super skilled and innovative with their work. I definitely recommend getting a tattoo here!

I flew in from Seattle for an appointment with Wil! When I first discovered his tattoo instagram, I fell in love with his artwork and knew I had to visit LA. The studio was very nice, spacious and clean! Wil himself was very kind and professional. He even offered me refreshments. I would highly recommend taking a look at any of the artists at Gung Ho studio :) It was a great experience, and I will forever be in love with my tattoo!
