“Sometimes, the customer isn't right. Jaime helped turn a very rough-looking floor into one that exceeded what I had requested. I had recently purchased a unit in a highrise condo building in San Francisco's East Cut neighborhood. I was renting a unit in the same building and was fixated on replicating the exact finish on the floor of the unit I had just purchased. Jaime and his team came recommended by the HOA since they had a lot of experience working with the floors in this particular condo building. Jaime took the time to carefully explain the constraints specific to the flooring in the building. He was extremely knowledgeable. Even after explaining the constraints, I was still determined to replicate the exact finish created by the original builder. After the work was completed, I compared the floors in the newly purchased unit against the floors in the unit I was renting, and they were quite different. Initially, I was unhappy with the result. Jaime and team had to put up with a grumpy customer for a couple of days, but I eventually recognized the error of my ways. I soon recognized that the new floors in the unit I had just purchased were actually much nicer than the floors in the unit I was renting. Jaime and team delivered a finish that was superior to the finish I had gotten used to. It was a 'glow-up.' After moving into the new unit and being back in the old unit to prepare it to hand back over to the owner, I have found myself thankful that we didn't replicate the flooring in the old unit. Jaime and crew are world-class in what they do. This was one of those 'trust the experts' scenarios. The customer isn't always right. I highly recommend Chacon Flooring to anyone looking for excellence in execution.“

“Really appreciate Quality Flooring's help with a remodel. I had other quotes that were much more expensive and a flooring expert that told me that the floors were too far gone and needed to be ripped and replaced. “Super responsive. We needed a runner installed on some wooden stairs that we had purchased on line and required putting two runners together with padding. It was clear via his specific questions that he was very knowledgeable (compared to others I was in communication with who only asked a few questions). He asked for photos, patiently responded to a variety of questions (even when it was an evening on a weekend) and was prompt, very clean, and did a great job. Very friendly and personable. Quote was lower than others as well. Would definitely recommend.“

“Reading through all the past reviews; looks like 2014 was just a bad year. Fast forward to 2023, and with Medine at the helm, we had a FANTASTIC experience. She has a very sharp eye for detail, and when she gives you a time for when she'll show up, she keeps her word. We got a kitchen island installed for MUCH, MUCH less than other contractors we spoke with. She communicates well via phone and text, and from our experience, she delivered everything as promised. She was knowledgeable about all the necessary housing codes, and everything worked out amazingly well in the end. It's too bad yelp only goes as high as 5 stars; we'd give a perfect 10 in a heartbeat if we could! We look forward to hiring her for our next big project!“
