Very professional and respectful during my grandmothers funeral allowed us to do Chinese traditions which most funeral homes would not allow. It was mostly 2 female workers that helped my family and were always there. Driving the hearse and helping carry the casket. Which was pretty amazing to see just 2 individuals do so many different things

My mother who passed in her 99th year had arranged her funeral with Sands years ago. She lived in Vancouver for her last year and I was always concerned what I would happen when she passed. As it turned out Sands was called by the nurse in the early hours of the morning and from there everything was taken care of by Brad in a careful compassionate manner. For the items she had arranged but were no longer appropriate , he was so generous to suggest exchanging for those things we now needed, such as collecting us from the airport and trading the stationary for a lovely arrangement of flowers in her favourite colours. Sands Funeral Home was respectful, thoughtful, professional and accommodating to our family on the passing of my wife. Most of the family, myself included, lived out of town and cremation, viewing, memorial and internment were all at separate times and places so it was not a straightforward service that they provided. Nonetheless they were able to make everything work wonderfully well. We are so pleased that we chose Sands Victoria. Thank you to Brad, Huntley, Odessa and all the other staff who were so kind and made the whole process go as smoothly as possible.
